Jam Down at Salhouse Lodge Sat 28th May

Jam Down at Salhouse Lodge Sat 28th May

We are very proud to announce the first of our 2016 Free
Outdoor Summer Jam Down Sessions at Salhouse Lodge on Saturday the 28th of May.

We invite you to join us for a celebration of Reggae Music and Sound System Culture in a beautiful garden enclosed by diverse species of mature trees and even some local wildlife…

Enjoy a family friendly atmosphere and carnival vibe in this gorgeous rural part of Norfolk only minutes from Norwich.

Jamdown DJs and Special guests will be playing live in the garden from 12 mid day until 12 midnight on the critically acclaimed Wilkes and Royal Sound System and with no immediate neighbours!!!

We also have a BBQ serving a great selection of Caribbean and British food throughout the day with plenty of indoor and outdoor areas for you to get cosy, tuck into to your grub or hang out with friends and just chill.

We understand it may be a mile or two out of the way for a few of you but don’t worry! The good people of Salhouse Lodge have very kindly offered FREE access to the camping facilities for all Jam down family. Five acres of lush green space is available for you to pitch your tents, park up in your camper vans or caravans and they even offer electrical hook up at a very respectable price too! If you require electrical hook up please contact Salhouse lodge direct on 01603 782 828. Please note they have very few spaces left for Caravans.

We’ve had an overwhelming response in under a week of going live with this event, we would like to take this opportunity to point out that The Lodge has a maximum capacity of 400 people. Therefore we are now in a position where we will have to issue passes for you to gain access to the site. Anybody who isn’t lucky enough to secure a pass will be refused entry. You can apply for your free pass by emailing wilkesandroyal@gmail.com stating names, ages and postcodes of each member of your group. Please include your camping requirements i.e. pitch size ( 4 man tent, 8 man tent etc..) and location (if you have children and would like a quieter spot). We will do our very best to meet your requirements!
You will be issued with your unique pass via email shortly before the event that will be exchanged for a wristband on the gate upon arrival. Each pass will only allow one admittance.

For the luxury experience, why not take advantage of one of the 4 star B&B rooms on offer (Please note these are filling up very fast) please contact Salhouse lodge direct on 01603 782 828

The venue has a good sized Car Park however with such a large expected attendance we are strongly advising people to share lifts as much as possible, get dropped off at the gate, ride a bike there or make use of public transport available to avoid serious congestion.

The lodge has a very well priced bar and large outdoor children’s play area, Sunday Breakfast menu and if you’re still on site by Sunday lunchtime you’re in luck as they do a banging carvery too!.

Salhouse Lodge Campsite Rules:

Respect each other and your surroundings.
Leave no trace!
No Dogs (Except Guide Dogs)
No Unauthorized Sound Systems

No Glass Bottles or Alcohol.
Only Alcohol purchased on the premises will be allowed.
Anyone found in possession of Alcohol or Illegal Substances will be refused entry.
You will be searched by a member of security upon arrival.
